Community First - Bromley Healthcare's Strategy 2023-2028
Since 2011, Bromley Healthcare has been providing community healthcare services for people in south east London. In that time, we have grown as an organisation, and have expanded our services and reach into our communities. The care we provide reaches hundreds of thousands of lives each year, and spans an entire lifetime, empowering people to start well, live well and age well.
But there is so much more we can do. Community health services are an essential part of national healthcare. We are here to meet the challenges of our decade, reduce health inequalities and create a culture of belonging and inclusivity within our neighbourhoods.
Our strategy renews our focus on what matters and draws our attention to working with colleagues, our partners and communities to bring people the best healthcare and experience.

Our vision for community healthcare
We want to empower people to live their fullest lives in the heart of their communities.

Goal 1 | Grow: Build a culture of growth and opportunity
We will continue the work on building a culture of growth and opportunity for our people.
The experience of the people who work for Bromley Healthcare - our colleagues – is vital. The exceptional people who work at Bromley Healthcare are the key to providing the highest quality care for local people and communities. By investing in and recognising the talents and dedication of our colleagues, we can make sure that the people we serve receive the very best care that they deserve.
Goal 2 | Lead: Become a leader in integrated care
We strive to become a leader in integrated care, driven by our population's needs.
We have a deep knowledge of our local population and will take a "listening lead" to create integrated care. Our community-centred approach will address ill health and vulnerability early by building teams, using innovative data and tools, and developing new service models that meet people's needs.
Goal 3 | Invest: Invest in our communities
Our commitment to our community runs deep, as we work and live alongside them. We aim to help families and young people by partnering with community centres and schools. We will rethink our services to minimise environmental harm. We’ll donate profits to our charity and research to enhance our services.
