Angela Dawe

Non Executive Director

Angela brings a depth of experience in primary and community care, having dedicated her career to the NHS for close to 40 years. She has previously lead on the development and integration of community care services in South London. Angela is currently a Trustee at Royal Trinity Hospice, a Trustee at Cicely Northcote Trust and has previously been Chair of Brook London.

Dr Subo Shanmuganathan

Non Executive Director

Subo trained as a research scientist, completing her PhD in Clinical Immunovirology at Imperial College London. She has held senior executive roles in the public and not-for-profit sectors as well as in a social enterprise and brings management and leadership experience from a 25-year career building and transforming organisations. Subo has been a Trustee of three charities working in international development and education previously and is a committed supporter of work in these areas. She is currently a Non-Executive Director for South East Coast Ambulance NHS Foundation Trust using her clinical and education background to support the delivery of emergency and urgent care. She is also a trained senior leadership coach and mentor and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy for 21 years.

Jacqueline Scott

Chief Executive Officer

Jacqui was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in January 2016, having joined Bromley Healthcare in December 2010 as Finance and Commercial Director. During the establishment of Bromley Healthcare, Jacqui was responsible for the financial plan and due diligence.

As Finance and Commercial Director and Deputy Chief Executive, Jacqui was responsible for business planning, commercial strategy, performance reporting, IT, data strategy, human resources, transformation and for financial controls. Under her financial stewardship the company has achieved growth of 30% and increased reserves by 733% since its inception.

Andrew Hardman

Chief Commercial Officer

Andrew leads on developing our business and the services we offer, which includes working with partnership agencies as well as leading on our Communications and Engagement functions. He is the Board lead representing the health and care professions. Andrew has worked in community health services in Bromley since 1990 starting his career as a speech and language therapist; he continues to see patients today

Fiona Christie

Chief Nurse

Fiona trained as a registered general nurse in the early 1980s and went on to specialise in orthopaedics, neurosurgery and A&E where she gained over 15 years experience and trained as an emergency nurse practitioner. She then transferred to primary care and gained her degree as a nurse practitioner. She was awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse in 2021. Fiona has held a number of senior nurse management and leadership positions in acute and secondary care, including responsibility for acute medical and emergency care nursing workforce and care standards.

Fiona has been with Bromley Healthcare since it was established in 2011. As Executive Chief Nurse, Fiona has professional responsibility for nursing care across Bromley Healthcare in community and hospital settings. She is also the Director for Patient Experience and the Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC). As a professional leader, Fiona is involved in service development and improvement as well as quality across the whole pathway of care.

Professor Ali Bokhari

Chief Medical Officer

Professor Ali Bokhari is our Chief Medical Officer for the organisation. He joined the Executive Board of Directors in January 2023 to lead on strategic clinical transformation, innovation and development within Bromley Healthcare. He will also be working with One Bromley place-based leadership to help coordinate a unified health and wellbeing response to the needs to our patients and communities. Professor Bokhari has over 25 years of clinical experience as a Consultant Paediatrician in South London and Kent, and a special passion for integrated care, collaborative working, innovation and supporting professional development. Until recently he was an associate dean at the Health Education Kent Surry and Sussex and Dean for Kent.

Ceinwen Giles

Associate Non Executive Director

Ceinwen Giles is Co-CEO at Shine Cancer Support, a charity supporting adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s with cancer. She has extensive experience in the charity sector both in the UK and internationally.

Ceinwen is a patient advocate whose work in this sector was preceded by her diagnosis of stage IV non-Hodgkin lymphoma six weeks after her daughter was born prematurely. As a result of her treatment, she lives with chronic immuno-deficiency condition and has written and spoken widely on self-management, patient engagement, and the role of patient and public engagement in health and healthcare. She has a particular interest in the link between staff and patient experience.

Ceinwen is the Chair of the Patient and Public Voices Forum of the NHS England Cancer Programme and sits on the BMJ Patient Partnership Panel. Between 2013 and 2022 she was a Trustee for the Point of Care Foundation and a member of the King’s Fund General Advisory Council.

Ceinwen lives in the Borough of Greenwich with her husband, daughter and a badly behaved cat.

Patrick Montgomery

Chief Technology Officer

Patrick has 25 years of experience across a range of industries and places (local government, technology manufacturing, construction, IT start-up, energy in the UK and Europe with the last 4 years, delivering IT and Digital for local authorities in London for Newham, Havering, Westminster and Kensington councils. Patrick has successfully led the IT and Digital shared service, transforming the technology landscape of multiple councils; providing IT services to roughly 7,000 users and digital services to circa 500,000 residents and businesses.

As Chief Technology Officer, Patrick leads the IT, Information, Systems and CCC teams and is also the One Bromley Digital Lead.

Simon Russell

Non Executive Director

Simon has worked in the retail sector for over 30 years mainly in strategy, digital and operational leadership roles. He spent 30 years at John Lewis where he was Director of Operational Development. He has also been Managing Director of Parsley Box, held senior roles in Amazon and his own management consultancy business. He is currently a board director for Banham Group. He has a passion for people, both employees (including extensive employee ownership experience) and those we serve. He also brings extensive commercial strategy experience.

He is currently Chairman of Lewisham College and has been a long term director and advisor for Leadership Development company and charity, Common Purpose, which brings together senior leaders from the private, public and not for profit sectors.
