Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy for Adults at Home

We provide physiotherapy and occupational therapy at home for adults living in Bromley who are not able to travel to a clinic. If you are housebound, or if it is easier and safer to see how you manage at home, our therapists can support you. We offer home visits and online video appointments. You can refer yourself to this service, or a health or care professional can refer you.

What to expect at your appointment

Home visits

We will contact you to arrange a suitable time for your first appointment.

You may see a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist or a therapy assistant (sometimes called a rehabilitation technician).

Together, you will agree goals and a care plan designed around your needs.

Online video appointments

Online appointments have been part of our service since early 2025. Most patients find them simple to use, and feedback shows they feel supported and listened to, similar to a home visit.

  • You will receive a text message from NHSNoReply with a link to choose an appointment time.
  • If you do not book using the link, our team will contact you to help you book.
  • On the day, you will get a text with simple instructions to join your video appointment using an NHS system called Accurx. If there is any problem joining, your clinician will phone you.
  • You will set goals together and agree a care plan, just as you would in a home visit.

Our online video appointments have been nominated for a national award:
Bromley Therapies team nominated for national Greener NHS award.
