Get involved
Whether you have one comment to share or want to work alongside us long-term, there are many ways to take part:
Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG)
Our Lived Experience Advisory Group (LEAG) brings together patients, carers and family members who want to use their experiences to shape how we work.
Members of the group draw on their own insights to work alongside our staff, helping us review and co-design things like new services, strategic priorities and programmes.
The group meets every other month, both online and in person, for 2 and a half hours. By joining, you’ll be part of a growing network of people helping to improve community healthcare for everyone.
Other ways to get involved include:
- Patient Readers’ Network – help us make our leaflets, letters and websites clear and easy to understand
- Service co-design – work with staff to design or review how services are delivered
- Community outreach – join us at events and festivals to share your views

How we act on your feedback
We don’t just collect feedback, we act on it to improve our services. Every comment, suggestion, or concern helps us understand what’s working and where we can do better.
We use proven quality improvement methods to:
- Identify areas for change
- Test new ideas
- Measure the impact of improvements
We also make sure to demonstrate progress and closure by sharing updates through:
- “You Said, We Did” reporting
- Community engagement activities
- Visible changes to our services
This approach helps us stay transparent, work in partnership with our service users, and build a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Here are some recent examples of improvements we have made to our services in response to feedback from the community.
