Bromley Healthcare’s Community Dietetic Service has been successful in in winning the Community contract for Bexley.
Our CEO Jacqui Scott commented, “We are delighted to be continuing to provide this excellent service to Bexley residents. As the current provider, we have detailed knowledge of the local population and we will use our experience to offer the same high standards of care to Bexley patients.”
The new and enhanced service will now also include:
Community based dietetic service for non-ambulatory patients within their residential setting (residential/care/housebound/nursing/learning disability) implementing the ‘Food First’ program.
Rolling training to Bexley care homes on ‘’Food first’’ and ‘’MUST’’
A nutrition and dietetics telephone advice line for Health Care Professionals including GP’s.
Dietitians working with GP are to ensure that all ONS (oral nutritional supplements) are prescribed and used appropriately.
