We are delighted to announce that Bromley Healthcare has had a very successful few months with multiple award wins. Last night Bromley Healthcare was awarded the Health Innovation Network (HIN) South London Innovation Grant for its ‘Making Mealtimes Matter‘ (Supporting care homes at mealtimes with residents who have swallowing problems).
We received the Innovation and Growth Award at the annual Bromley Business Awards ceremony held at The Warren on Thursday 15 October 2015. This award recognised the success and development of the organisation since its inception in 2011.
Also in October our Executive Team, led by CEO Jonathan Lewis, collected the Laing and Buisson Award for Management Excellence for its leadership and focus on continuous innovation.
On the 12th of November we were awarded the Team of the Year in the Annual celebrating Desmond Awards.
This award recognised the innovative approach and hard work exhibited by the Lifestyles Team in the Health Improvement Service when delivering the ‘walking away from diabetes’ programme in Bromley.
We are also pleased to announce that we were finalists in the HSJ’s Compassionate Patient Care category for the great work carried out by Ofsted rated “Good” Hollybank Children’s Respite Unit.
“These award wins come on the back of another successful year for Bromley Healthcare in a very challenging period the NHS. As a social enterprise delivering NHS services we have managed to continuously improve the quality of our services and at the same time increased productivity. We have the highest Friends and Family satisfaction score in London at 98%. Since 2011 we have implemented 301 internal service improvements for the benefit of patients and have reinvested £1.5m back into our front line services,” said Bromley Healthcare’s CEO, Jonathan Lewis.
