No Smoking Day 2022

Today is No Smoking Day 2022! No Smoking Day is an annual awareness day in the UK. It was founded by a charity of the same name and first took place on Ash Wednesday in 1984. The date was then changed to the second Wednesday in March.

The purpose of No Smoking Day is to campaign for greater awareness about the health dangers associated with smoking.

Stopping smoking is one of the best things you will ever do for your health.

When you stop, you give your lungs the chance to repair and you will be able to breathe easier. There are lots of other benefits too – and they start almost immediately.

It’s never too late to quit.
