New Fit for Life course starting in March – learn to keep your mind and body well with the experts at St Christopher’s
Taking the time to take proper care of your mind and body can be a challenge, but this is especially true if you are living with a life-limiting, long-term or chronic illness. This free six week course might be just what you need to set you off on the right track, all in a friendly and welcoming environment, with people who are in a similar situation to you.
Join exercise and wellbeing experts at St Christopher’s to enjoy supervised exercise sessions which are suited to your level, learn about ways to help you to cope more effectively with stresses, alongside tips and tricks to keep you living well and keeping independent. Discussion topics will include, sleep, relaxation, mood, managing change and more.
Courses will run in St Christopher’s Orpington and Sydenham centres. You do need to live in one of St Christopher’s five boroughs (Bromley, Croydon, Lewisham, Lambeth and Southwark) to be able to join this course, but you don’t need to be being looked after by the hospice already.
