Fiona Christie

Fiona trained as a registered general nurse in the early 1980s and went on to specialise in orthopaedics, neurosurgery and A&E where she gained over 15 years experience and trained as an emergency nurse practitioner. She then transferred to primary care and gained her degree as a nurse practitioner. She was awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse in 2021. Fiona has held a number of senior nurse management and leadership positions in acute and secondary care, including responsibility for acute medical and emergency care nursing workforce and care standards.

Fiona has been with Bromley Healthcare since it was established in 2011. As Executive Chief Nurse, Fiona has professional responsibility for nursing care across Bromley Healthcare in community and hospital settings. She is also the Director for Patient Experience and the Director of Infection Prevention and Control (DIPC). As a professional leader, Fiona is involved in service development and improvement as well as quality across the whole pathway of care.
